Welcome to Together Homes dedicated webpage on the Coronavirus
This is where we will post regular updates on the Coronavirus. Updates will be posted in date order and you may need to scroll down for older messages.
Thursday 28th May
At this time of uncertainty, we need to ensure we keep both our customers and our colleagues as safe as possible. We have therefore developed a process for conducting viewings which facilitates social distancing while also enabling you to fully experience your future home.
If you think you have found your new home, please get in touch. Your sales consultant will offer you a virtual viewing online and by phone. They will talk you through the details of your potential new home, answer any questions you may have and support and guide you through the process of buying. Should you wish to proceed with a physical viewing and only if you are in a position to purchase, your sales consultant will arrange this with you and explain our social distancing procedures.
Tuesday 24 March
In order to keep our customers and colleagues safe, we are not conducting viewings at present. Our helpful sales team is still available to discuss our properties and Shared Ownership.
If you are currently buying a home from us, you will be contacted directly by your dedicated sales person to discuss your situation.
Stay safe and well, the Together Homes Team
Monday 16 March
As per the Government and Public Health England advice, Together Homes continues to provide services as normal. These services include arranging viewing and selling properties listed on the website.
This is a fast-moving situation and we are regularly monitoring the latest advice and guidance provided by the Government. The latest information and facts about Coronavirus can be found on the Government website - https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public.
If we need to change the way we work, this will be guided by the expert advice of the Government and Public Health England. The safety and security of our customers and staff remains our primary priority at this difficult time.
In common with other organisations we are already taking some sensible precautions to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. We are encouraging all our staff to wash their hands regularly and we are limiting avoidable contact between staff and customers where we can.
Other precautions that we are taking are as follows:
- From Tuesday 17 March, we will be asking a number of safety questions regarding Coronavirus before arranging any appointments to view properties. When necessary we will put a stop to all non-emergency visits for a period of 14 days.
- Before any viewings take place, we will contact customers beforehand to see if the situation has changed. If there are concerns about Coronavirus at this point then the viewing will not take place.
- Before releasing any keys on completion of a sale, we will contact customers to let them know what the arrangements will be for keys to be handed over.
If customers wish to get in touch this can be done through the following means:
- Online message – This can be done online at firstname.lastname@example.org and
Telephone – 0300 330 5533 - lines are open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
